Rocky Mountaineer’s exclusive Passage to the Peaks showcases best of Canadian Rockies for a limited time
VANCOUVER, British Columbia – For four weeks in summer 2026, travellers can journey by luxury train though Banff and Jasper National Parks on Rocky Mountaineer’s new limited-time route, Passage to the Peaks.
Beginning and ending in the iconic mountain towns of Banff and Jasper, travellers will be experience the evergreen forests, sparkling glacial lakes and towering mountains that define the magnificent Canadian Rockies.
Passage to the Peaks features two days of scenic views onboard Rocky Mountaineer’s luxury trains with an overnight stay in Kamloops, British Columbia. Highlights include the dramatic scenery of the Continental Divide, Yellowhead Pass, Pyramid Falls, Mount Robson, Rogers Pass, Kicking Horse Canyon and the renowned Spiral Tunnels. The train journey also features iconic glaciers and snow-capped peaks of the Rocky Mountains.

- June 12: Jasper to Banff
- June 14: Banff to Jasper
- June 16: Jasper to Banff
- June 18: Banff to Jasper
- June 22: Jasper to Banff
- June 24: Banff to Jasper
- June 26: Jasper to Banff
- June 28: Banff to Jasper
- June 30: Jasper to Banff
- July 2: Banff to Jasper
- July 6: Jasper to Banff
- July 8: Banff to Jasper
- July 10: Jasper to Banff
Rocky Mountaineer will continue to operate their First Passage to the West (Vancouver – Banff) and Journey through the Clouds (Vancouver – Jasper) routes in this period, on a reduced schedule.
Passage to the Peaks is featured in Rocky Mountaineer vacation packages ranging from two-days, one-night itineraries, to longer packages of up to 10-days, nine-nights with additional time in the Canadian Rockies. Pricing starts at $2,834 CAD per person.
