In partnership with the Moab Music Festival taking place between August 27 and September 12, we’re proud to present two new Rockies to the Red Rocks packages that will take guests on a unique and immersive journey through the American Southwest.
Returning for its 33rd year, the award-winning festival is known for its distinctive programming and star-studded performances of chamber music, jazz, Latin music, and more. Journey through the highlights of the Southwest onboard our train and experience an incredible roster of artists perform amongst the wilderness at historic outdoor venues and awe-inspiring settings.
Moab Music Festival Return Journey
The Return Journey begins and ends in Denver, offering a round-trip option for those who want the ultimate Moab Music Festival experience. Enjoy a curated itinerary including a half-day sightseeing tour of Arches National Park, musical performances onboard Rocky Mountaineer, world-class concerts set against the red rock backdrops of Moab, and much more.
Moab Music Festival Excursion
On the Excursion package, you'll experience a one-way rail journey from Salt Lake City to Denver. Start in Salt Lake City and journey to Moab, where you’ll see the highlights of Arches National Park, attend a series of exclusive concerts, and choose from optional activities such as a guided music hike.
After the festival, enjoy two more days onboard Rocky Mountaineer en route to Glenwood Springs and Denver.

Floating Concert
Cruise on an open-air river boat along the Colorado River, surrounded by canyon walls. Enjoy performances by festival artists on the boat, followed by a brunch reception on shore.
